Non-profit group formed to promote jazz in the Berkshires

PITTSFIELD, Massachusetts, May 14, 2009 — The founders of the Pittsfield CityJazz Festival have established a new independent identity as a non-profit organization, Berkshires Jazz, Inc. In addition to the Festival, the new group’s mission is to present jazz performances and promote jazz education throughout Berkshire County.
